Yesterday I made what Martha Stewart likes to call Hummingbird Cupcakes. I have NO idea why they are called like this, but let me tell you, they were DELICIOUS!! OMG, so good! You can find this recipe here.
These super moist and delicious cupcakes mix banana, coconut, and pinneapple! They were so so tasty.
Since these cupcakes were sorda tropical flavored, I used these simple but colorful cupcake papers:
After baking, these cupcakes adopted sorda like an orangy beige color... they looked so so delicious! If you look closely, you can even see little chunks of pineapple in the cupcakes... yum!
The only problem I encountered with this recipe was with the frosting. It turned out delicious, but not fluffy enough. So when I put the frosting on top of the cupcakes, it sorda just melted all over the place... it was still delicious though :)
Since the main ingredient of these cupcakes was banana, they smelt SO good! In fact, the entire house smelt like sweet banana!
These cupcakes cooked perfectly! They were super duper moist and soft without being too fragile.
Overall, I give these cupcakes a 9.5 out of 10!! It was definitely a winner recipe... enough to make me smile all day long :)
