Today I am wearing these cute lilac colored wedges for the very first time! The funny part though is that I actually have these same wedges in several different colors. I have them in lilac, pink, yellow, and beige! I liked them so much that I decided to buy them in nearly every color offered! hahaha.

So today is the last day of the Fabulous in February challenge. This challenge has really made me think hard of what I love about myself! So here are three more things I love about myself:

1. I love that I don't care about what other people think of me. After many many years of experience, I have learned that the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin and to live your life the way you want to no matter what other people think of you. Panama is a place that doesn't think out of the box when it comes to fashion (colorful tights is a big no no here); so I have had to learn to just dress the way I want to no matter what nasty weird looks I get throughout the day. And thanks to this I-don't-care-what-you-think-about-me attitude, I have become very happy and true to myself.

2. I love my determination. When I set myself a goal, I like to see it through all the way to the end. I try my best to not be mediocre and finish all of my projects (even if it takes a looooong time).

3. I love "me". It's hard to pinpoint three things I love about myself because I love myself as a whole. I accept all my good traits as well as my bad ones... I love that I have learned how to accept myself.

So those are my last three things that I love about myself... Phew, that was hard! Anyway, thank you Melissa for hosting such a great challenge!

Do you ever buy an item you like in several different colors?

Comments:
Now that I have moved to Panama (after living two years in the U.S.A.), the entire process of making outfits and taking pictures has changed. As I have said several times, Panama is a VERY hot and humid country. Therefore, it is essential to wear outfits that are light and cool. Today I defied that "rule" and decided to wear tights. The truth is that I miss wearing some of my winter clothes!! Luckily, these tights are very thin, so I wasn't hot at all!

Another challenge I face here in Panama is where to take my outfit pictures. The place I lived at in the U.S. was surrounded with millions of places to take pretty outdoor pictures; but here in Panama, I am limited to my backyard. I honestly really do like my backyard, but I feel that the pictures get kinda boring after taking them so many times in the same place. Thankfully, I managed to take today's pictures in a different and much prettier place. But most days, I just don't have the time to go out of my way to find a different spot to take pictures.

So those are some of the challenges I have been facing here in terms of my outfits and my outfit pics. It's all a matter of adapting and finding a way to make it work. I want to thank all of you for all your support and kind words. You really motivate me to do my best!

What challenges do you face in terms of your outfits and, if applicable, your outfit pics?

My Choice of Outfit of the week - Leopard with a POP of color!

Outfit of the week - Pretty Shiny Sparkly
This week's outfit of the week goes to Pretty Shiny Sparkly!!! Isn't this outfit so chic? I'm loving how she paired this feminine and simple white dress with this classic leopard trench. I also REALLY love how she added a POP of color with the burgundy tights and orange-y pumps. So so pretty!

I made sure to include pops of red in today's outfit to go along with the Go Red for Women Challenge. As I have said before, this challenge requires me to wear something red every Friday of February to raise awareness for women with heart disease.
Go RED for Women

Today I went to see a Dave Matthews Band tribute concert and it was so much fun! It wasn't Dave Matthews Band themselves; instead it was the official cover band. They really did an amazing job playing the band's songs, it sounded very very similar! We even ended up hanging out with the band for a large part of the night. They turned out to be very nice people ;)

As I was shopping with my friends today, I saw an old acquittance that I haven't seen in a couple of years. He is actually a local Panamanian designer that I modeled for about 2 years ago. Amongst our small talk, he suddenly said: "I love your style... it's very Marie Antoinette!"... haha that made me laugh because I have NEVER heard someone say that before! Anyway, I will take it as a compliment since Marie Antoinette use to wear beautiful big dresses... and well, I love dresses :)
