Comments:
Today I went out to dinner with my two best friends for some much needed girl time. We had a wonderful time together (as usual); but today we said was a night of "Revelations". For some reason, each one of us confessed a secret tonight. I came clean to my friends and told them about my blog.

Yeah, that's right, none of my friends knew my blog even existed. I've kept it a secret for over two years now. I just felt like other people wouldn't understand my blog and my reasons behind it (I mean, taking pictures of yourself everyday really sounds like a vain thing to do).

But my friends, being as awesome as they always are, were very understanding and happy that I told them about my blog. I'm so happy that I can now share this experience with them and that they accept me just the way I am. They are the best friends I could have ever wished for :)

Weekend at Bijao beach

Just thought I would share a quick couple of pictures of the relaxing weekend I had at a local beach area called Bijao.

It was amazing to just read a magazine, listen to the sound of the ocean waves, and watch the sunset.

Remember the adorable little kittens that we adopted? Well, they are still so so cute! Now that I've spent more time with them, I've realized that they really enjoy sleeping near one's neck or chest area.

They are SO tiny that they easily fit in just one of my hands. How cute is that right!?!?!

Work + Took care of our new kittens!

Comments:
Today the most darling thing happened. We heard something crying outside my brother's window at work and decided to see what it was. When we looked through the window, we saw two newborn kittens abandoned, crying, hungry, in the rain shivering. It was the saddest thing I have seen in a whole long time and we decided that we just HAD to save them.

We got them off the roof and took them to the vets to get cleaned and all that. They are the cutest (and smallest) little kitties! It's impossible to not fall in love with them. In the end, my brother Daniel decided to keep one and my brother Tom decided to keep the other.

I feel so very happy that we saved these poor little kittens from dying of hunger in the rain. They are so sweet and cute!

Thoughtful gift

Work half a day + Napped in the afternoon (a much needed rest) + Dinner with my friends.

Comments:
Every Christmas, my friends and I decide to play Secret Santa and give each other presents. This year we were all so busy that we couldn't celebrate our Secret Santa until today!

I was SOOO surprised with the thoughtful present I received this year! Everything about the present showed how much thought and care my friend put into it: the bag was blue (my favorite color) with a star balloon (I LOVE stars!), oh and the presents inside were just per-fect!

The presents inside were all Candyland themed! I dunno if I have ever mentioned it before, but I am completely obsessed with candy products. My friend somehow remembered that about me and gave me a donut charm, smores earrings, a gumdrop umbrella, Nerd flavored chapstick, and lots of chocolate kisses!

I couldn't believe that my friend knew me as well as he did. This present made me feel super special and loved :)

How simple and yet chic is today's outfit?! I love when outfits are this easy and still look effortlessly stylish.

I have always loved how crisp white tops look with jeans and beige pumps. Its so classic and versatile. Topped off with the geeky glasses and stacked bangles, this outfit becomes an instant favorite for me!

Today I decided to wear an outfit with different proportions than I usually wear. I always like wearing skirts until my waist; but today I decided to wear this collar shirt out and belted. Although I like how it looks, I still think tucking my shirt in is more flattering. Anywhoo, it was worth a try!
