Where:

A gorgeous wedding reception. The decorations were beyond gorgeous and the food was exquisite!

Comments:

Today I decided to wear this red dress to a wedding my boyfriend was invited to. Even though the shape of the dress is very simple, I felt very bold because of its bright red color. Also, I just love sweetheart necklines, don't you?!

I decided to go very glam by having my hair done at a salon. It was hard to explain what hairstyle I wanted, but ultimately the hairdresser made exactly what I wanted. I am completely in love with this updo, I wish I could wear my hair like this every single day! hahaha. 

Anyways, I felt super glamorous today. Something about being the "Lady in Red" and wearing some special family jewels just made me feel like a princess.

My Choice of Outfit of the Week - Parisian Chic

 

This week's Outfit of the Week goes to JB from Mrs. Dork!! She looks very Parisian chic with the stripes and pop of red. Apart from great style, I also just adore how sweet and supportive she is. Good job JB!

Punta Culebra, a little taste of Panama

This weekend, my boyfriend and I went to Punta Culebra (a nearby park that has beautiful scenery and local animals) to practice our photography skills. Many of you have asked me about Panama, so I thought it would be fun to share with all of you a couple of my favorite pictures.

I managed to take this picture of an Iguana just when it was going to eat a flower! I was so happy to get this cool picture, definitely my favorite of the day.

We also saw other animals like these huge turtles and starfish.

It has been sooooo long since I go to this area (I used to go all.the.time. when I was a kid), so I really enjoyed visiting it once again ;)

I saw this floral dress on Forever 21's website about a month ago and immediately knew I wanted it! Apart from the beautiful floral print, I really like its asymmetric shape. Even though I really liked it, I decided not to buy it because I had already spent too much money online (compulsive buyer here!).

Little did I know that my mom would pick the exact same dress for me when she visited the U.S. a couple of weeks ago! I mean, what a coincidence right?! I guess it must really be my style! I was so close to buying it online...good thing I didn't :)

Today was my sister's Birthday! Yai! We had the most magnificent day. After work, we all got together to have Tea-Time with delicious appetizers and sweet treats.

We sang Happy Birthday, opened presents, and made funny faces. (We wouldn't be ourselves if we weren't silly)

After our fun Tea-Time, my sister and I went to an Il Volo concert. Let me just say, they were A-MA-ZING. They have the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. At many times I had to pinch myself because I couldn't believe they sang so good. The concert was simply fantastic!

One of my best friends (called Diana) has to be one of the most thoughtful people I know. She travels several times throughout the year, and she always takes the time to bring me something special. The last time she returned from Disneyworld, she brought me this adooooorable monkey** hand-wash. Isn't it cute?!

 

 

**For any new readers out there, my boyfriend and I call each other monkeys. So anything that has a monkey on it is very special to me!
