A Merry Christmas Together

Dec 25 (1)
Christmas this year was nothing short of wonderful. As I mentioned the other day, my brother who lives in Europe decided to spend Christmas in Panama this year (for the first time in about 5 years), so everything was extra special this year with his presence.

My parents really outdid themselves this year with Christmas decorations and presents. I still feel like a kid waking up on Christmas morning and running out to see what "Santa" left under our tree.

...and we thanked and hugged each other.
Dec 25 (6)

My Boyfriend surprised me this year with a HUGE monkey plushie!!! (For all you new readers, my boyfriend and I call each other monkeys and love all things monkey). I am in love with this ginormous monkey!! We've named him Gorilon, which means Big Gorilla in Spanish.
Dec 25 (7)

I'm not the only one who loves my new monkey, my grandmother also loved it too!
Dec 25 (8)

We also took advantage that the entire family was together to take a family picture. We were all just so happy to be together.
Dec 25 (10)

By far, this year was one of the best Christmases we have ever had. Having my brother Mike here for the holidays was the best blessing we could have ever wished for. I am so happy that we are all together :)

Comments:
You know how I decide what to wear sometimes? I take a look at previous outfits I have made! Today for example, I decided to wear a very red outfit since I wore a very green outfit last Friday. It only seems logical (and fun!) to dress in red and green colors during the holiday season!

This year, my father came up with the wonderful idea of taking a picture of our family so that we can make online Christmas cards to send to our coworkers and distributors. Although the pictures turned out great, it was still incomplete without my brother Michael who lives in Europe.

Last year I decided I needed a couple of classic looking skirts, so I decided to buy this yellow skirt as well as twin orange and lime green skirts. I would have never guessed that the yellow skirt would be the one I wear the most (and by far!) Wanna guess how many times I have worn it since last year?
Dec 19 (6)
... no idea? I've worn it 14 times!! That might not sound like many times to you, but I don't wear almost anything that often. I feel so proud of myself for being able to remix this yellow skirt in so many ways!

What is the color of the skirt you wear the most?

DIY: Paperclip necklace

12 Dec 20 - Paperclip Necklace (1)
12 Dec 20 - Paperclip Necklace (6)
I finally got around to posting this DIY! Sorry for the delay guys!

Here is cute and fun craft: A paperclip necklace! Yes that's right, a necklace completely made of paperclips. I love how easy, quick, and quirky this DIY is!

Craft: Paperclip necklace

Source: Inspired by Glitter N' Glue

12 Dec 20 - Paperclip Necklace (2)

For this craft, all you will need is:
  1. Lots of paper clips!

Here are the steps to completing this craft:

1. Make a strand of clips of each color: The first thing you need to do is separate the clips by color and then clip them together in long strands. Each color strand should be one clip longer than the previous strand. So for example, the closest strand to your neck would have 12 clips, the next color would have 13, the next 14, and so on.
12 Dec 20 - Paperclip Necklace (3)

2. Attach all strands to one paperclip: Next step is to attach each strand of paperclips to one single paperclip. Make sure to attach them in the order in which you want to display them.
12 Dec 20 - Paperclip Necklace (4)

3. Adjust length as desired: The 3rd and final step is to add as many paperclips as you want to get the desired length. I attached 4 clips to the back of the necklace, but you can add as many as you want!

Done!

As easy as 1, 2, 3!

So there you have it folks, go ahead and try making a paperclip necklace! It's easy, quick, and fun! Plus, it costs less than $1 (Or make it for free by using office supplies at work).
