Today I decided to wear an outfit with some bold pattern mixing. I know I look borderline crazy with this combo, but somehow I just feel like it works. I decided that these two patterns work together because a) They are both based on the same color (purple) and b) One pattern is much bolder than the other.
Since the pattern mixing was a real attention grabber, I decided to keep the rest of the outfit very simple (including a natural-makeup look)
