Professional Thursday: A happy monkey birthday to me!

Today was my 22nd birthday!! Yippiiee!!! The best part of this birthday was that my parents where here to celebrate it with me. It was so special to have them here, it really made my day!



I had to work most of the day, but at night we went to one of our favorite restaurant Applebee's! It's the same restaurant where I celebrated my 21st birthday last year :)

After getting our bellies very full of yummy food, we went back to my apartment to sing happy birthday and open presents. I sure had a lot more presents than I would have imagined!! How exciting huh?!

First we sang happy birthday and ate delicious cake. My cake this year was red velvet with cake batter ice cream...yummy yummy :)

Then we proceeded to open presents!! I received so many wonderful clothes, accessories, shoes, and food! Yes, in my family food is a very worthy birthday present!... jeje. I also got these beautiful star rings, I'm sure I will be wearing them all the time:

This birthday can be considered a very "monkey" birthday because many of the presents where monkey related. For all you new readers that don't know, my boyfriend and I call each other monkeys for no particular reason. So I really enjoyed all the cute monkey details!

It was a wonderful wonderful birthday here with my parents and boyfriend... Cheers to my 22nd!
