Bringing out the boots

Where: Finished cleaning and organizing my apartment for my parents who arrive tomorrow!

Today was unexpectedly cold, so I had to bring out my trusty tights and boots! I actually really love boots and tights of all colors, so I'm pretty happy to be using them again :)

Today's outfit actually started with this striped sweater. This is one of those items that I use to looovvee when my style was more punker-ish but that now don't fit my style too much.

So what I did was pair this punker-ish sweater with a cute white dress to keep things "me" and feminine. I added chic details like the belt, silver accessories, and purse to go along with the entire rock-yet-feminine look.

BTW, my parents arrive tomorrow to visit me for an entire week and I just could not be happier!! So excited!! yaaiii!!

Calendar: October is the month of surprises and excitement!

The month of October is going to be one of the best months of the entire year! This month has several wonderful events like my parents coming to visit me, my birthday, going to see Cirque du Soleil, going to NYC, my blog's 1 year anniversary, and Halloween! How about that for an exciting month?!?!

This month I will be hosting a lot of fun events to celebrate my blog's first birthday!
