Today I attended a Marvel themed Birthday Party! My friends and I are very silly people, so we like to through fun parties with crazy themes (Anyone remember our funny hat party?). In this case, we all wore outfits inspired by a Marvel character. 

I decided to dress up as The Incredible Hulk! I wanted to make sure I didn't look TOO much like Hulk (Big, green, and angry? No thanks!) so I just went with a purple and neon green color combo. It gives away who I was supposed to be without looking too costume-y

I want to send a big thanks to Oasap.com for sending me this gorgeous purple pleated dress (You can find this dress here!). I'm just in love with the way in moves and its rich color. I've already planned like 5 different outfits in my head using this dress, so thank you Oasap!

Not only was all my friends in "costume", but the party was also fabulously decorated with all sorts of Marvel decorations. I especially loved the Captain America cake with sparklers.

My friends and I were extra silly tonight, doing all sorts of superhero games, and taking funny pictures. I just LOVE that I can be this silly with my friends. As long as we are all together, it is pretty much guaranteed that I will have a nice time ;)

I was unexpectedly invited to a wedding today, so I quickly whipped this look together. To stay true to the neon challenge, I added these bright orange heels! I love how unexpected they look under this gooooorgeous pleated dress. OMG, I wish I could live in this pleated dress, its just so diviiiinneee. Ok, I'll calm down now ;)

 

We had a blast at the wedding btw! We danced, ate, sang, and even took funny pictures in a photo booth! We had a such a wonderful time :)

I've been looking at this beautiful dress in my closet for quite some time now. It's one of those dresses that you feel you should leave for a "special occasion", so you basically never wear it. 

Today I decided that it wasn't worth waiting for this "special occasion" and that every single day is a special occasion if you think about it. If I feel like wearing it and it makes me happy, why should I wait for a "special occasion" anyway, right?!
