Today I decided to wear this purple scarf and hat set that I haven't worn in a while. It's the same set as the black and white one I wore the other day but in purple. I decided to play off some of the grey tones in the scarf by wearing this grey dress. Then I picked the mustard cardi to add a little more color (one color is just NOT enough color for me... jajaja)

Once I was done, I felt the outfit was missing a little something to make it more special. So then I came up with the idea of wearing my black patterned tights over my black tights to add a subtle yet interesting effect. You can't really see the effect very much in the pics, but this subtle detail really made the entire outfit more chic!

This week's outfit of the week goes to Joann from Sidewalk Chalk!!! This beautiful outfit is living proof that a fashionable coat is all you need to look chic! I personally loooove this green and blue coat Joann is wearing, the colors are just fabulous! I also love that she dared to wear white tights, something I have been considering trying out one of these days. Congrats on looking so chic Joann!
