When: Thursday May 7, 2010
What:
Green dress: Conway (Panama)
White eyelet blazer: Estampa (Panama)
Pink flower accessory: Madison (Panama)
Brown Wedges: Payless Shoe Source
Brown purse: Something I have had since my childhood!
Where: Interview and dinner at Applebee's (Yum Yum!)
Comments:
Today my outfit was inspired by a somewhat unusual source: a package of M&M's!!! jajaja, goes to show you can really get inspired by just about anything. I got this new package of Coconut M&M's yesterday and noticed how tropical chick the green M&M looked:
So I decided to use her as inspiration today... I went for a green dress to resemble the overall color of the M&M. Then I added a white blazer to represent the M on her belly. Then I chose brown shoes & purse to resemble the "coconut flavor". And I topped it off with a pink flower in my hair just like hers to get that tropical feeling. Weeee, its so much fun to dress like an M&M!!
Anyway, this M&M has wonderful wonderful news!! After many many setbacks, I finally got hired for an internship this summer!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! I'm going to be a student consultant for my university. That's perfect for me because: a) I know two languages and can relate to students from different cultures, and b) I will be working with my boyfriend... jajaja, who said work couldn't be fun? Anyway, I'm so happy to finally have that setteld! Thumbs up for finally getting a job!
Here are all the ways in which I've worn this green dress:
