eBay obsession Challenge Day 5: Let the necklace do the talking

Where: Finished writing up my last essay for class and celebrated by watching a movie with my boyfriend :)

For the 5th day of my eBay obsession challenge, I decided to start using some of the many unique looking accessories that I have scored through eBay, starting with this colorful bib necklace! I was very hesitant in buying this piece because its much bigger and bolder than what I usually wear in terms of accessories; but after thinking about it I decided it was worth the risk. I'm so happy I got it! I know its not everyone's cup of tea, but it has flowers and lots of colors which = total happiness for me :)

I decided to let this unique piece be the center of attention of today's outfit by wearing it with a simple and fresh white dress. I also went with green shoes to play off the green leaves in the necklace. I just love the way the necklace pops against the white dress, it really makes a statement!
