When: Sunday April 4, 2010
What:
White lace dress: Forever XXI
Floral jacket: Forever XXI
Burgundy tights: Forever XXI
Black booties: Payless Shoe Source
Black Liz Claiborne purse: TJ Max
Black Nine West belt: TJ Max
Where: Mass, baked some Easter goodies, and relaxed in a bookstore with my boyfriend.
Comments:
I started off with a cupcake design that involved green shredded coconut! jaja, the cupcakes are supposed to look like the interior of Easter baskets (you know, the stringy plastic stuff with the Easter eggs). I thought they looked so cute with the Jelly beans and all! (Recipe is from here)
I also decorated some easy peasy bunny cupcakes with some marshmallow bunny Peeps. These are sooooo easy, I make them for all the holidays :)
Both cupcakes together looked so cute and cheerful! I'm so happy with how they turned out!
I also made some coconut chocolate hummingbird nests. These were just too easy and they taste so darn good! If you like Almond Joys, you are going to LOVE these. I got the recipe from here.
I also received some special Easter treats from the Easter Monkey this year. Yes, the Easter Monkey not the Easter bunny simply because my boyfriend and I call each other monkeys... I dunno why really but it makes me smile :)
We finished the day off by going to a bookstore and relaxing. It was wonderful to drink some hot coco, eat a warm blueberry scone, and read InStyle magazine... simply wonderful.
I had a wonderful time today being silly and having innocent fun. What did you do today?
Here are all the ways in which I've worn these burgundy tights:

Happy Easter everyone! If you don't celebrate Easter, than happy Sunday everyone! I had a very pleasant and relaxing Easter this year. I, of course, wore these bunny ears I got for just $1 all over the house during the entire day! jajaja, my boyfriend would smile every time he looked at me :) ... It's so easy to have fun :)
I spent most of the day making some fun Easter treats! This year I made two types of cupcakes and some coconut chocolates.I started off with a cupcake design that involved green shredded coconut! jaja, the cupcakes are supposed to look like the interior of Easter baskets (you know, the stringy plastic stuff with the Easter eggs).
