Work + Represented my company at a fair.
Comments:
Today I went to a fair to represent my company as a distributor of fire pumps. So, I wanted to make sure I wore something that said: "Hello, yes I know that I am a women working in a very man-driven industry. Nevertheless, I am very competent and I deserve your respect. Oh, and btw, I also like to dress with style". Yeah, I know, I was asking a whole lot from today's outfit.
But somehow I feel that this outfit really achieves just that. I think the dress is very professional and serious, but my pearl necklace and floral shoes say I'm stylish. I'll never know if my outfit really conveyed the message I wanted, but I felt pretty confident in it and that's what counts :)
