Challenge day 2: Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolly lolly lolly...

Where:
After going out for lunch with my family, my mom and I went to go see a new mall here in Panama (pretty cool stuff!). I also went out for sushi dinner with my boyfriend :)

Today is the second day of my NYC gift inspiration challenge. For today's outfit, I was inspired by the adorable lollipop my friend brought me from NYC:

In order to implement a couple of the lollipops characteristics into my outfit, I had to think long and hard! I decided to wear red & white, since the lollipop is red & white. I also decided to wear this stripped cardi since the lollipop has "stripes". And last but not least, I added a bow in my hair to resemble the lollipop's bow on the handle.

This challenge of getting inspiration from a lollipop has a special bonus for me: lollipops bring me good memories. It so happens that I used to be a dancer for many many years and the first solo tap dance I did for a competition was with that song: "Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolly lolly lolly...". You know the song, the one that is on the colored Dell laptops commercial were the laptops are wrapped as candies!

Anyway, I used to looove dancing tap when I was younger. I am pleased to say I wone fourth place in the competition!! I was sooooo happy. My costume was adorable too since it had a big pink bow on the back and in my hair! Here is a picture just to make u all smile, jajaja:
